Answers to the most frequently asked questions about PhotoPrint Pro and PhotoPrint LT. If your question isn't listed here, please write to us—we usually respond within a few days.

My printer isn't being detected—what can I do?

PhotoPrint prints via AirPrint. Check the following in order: 1. Make sure your printer supports AirPrint (you can find this information in the manual or on the manufacturer’s website). 2. Ensure your iPhone/iPad and printer are on the same Wi-Fi network—not on the guest network. 3. Restart your printer and router once. 4. Check whether another app (e.g., Safari) can find the printer: If it doesn’t appear there either, the problem is with the network, not with PhotoPrint.

How do I restore my in-app purchase?

If you've installed PhotoPrint LT on a new device or your purchase isn't showing up: Open the Purchases screen in the app and tap "Restore Purchases." Be sure to use the same Apple ID you used to make the purchase. You won't be charged again.

What photo and paper sizes are available?

Both apps include all formats: 9×12, 9×13, 9×9, 10×15, and 13×18 cm, DIN A4/A5/A6/A8, US Letter and Half Letter, 8×10 inches, EU and US passport photos, and credit card size. Printing is done on the paper size currently loaded in your printer—PhotoPrint places the photos on the paper to scale.

Why does my printout have a white border?

Whether borderless printing is possible depends on the printer, not the app. Many photo printers offer borderless printing only on photo paper in specific sizes. In the print options, select “Photo Paper” as the paper type and check your printer’s borderless printing setting.

How do I get the best print quality?

When printing, select "Photo Paper" as the paper type—the printer will then use its finest resolution. Use real photo paper, and double-tap the photo to check the selected crop in the zoom view.

What is the difference between PhotoPrint LT and Pro?

PhotoPrint LT is free and prints 1 or 2 photos per page, up to 3 pages per job—expandable via in-app purchase. PhotoPrint Pro includes everything right from the start: up to 9 photos per page, an unlimited number of pages, and up to 10 text labels. The photo and paper sizes are identical in both versions.
